Welcome to the newly redesigned website for the Austin Hotel and Lodging Association (AustinHLA)! As hoteliers, we can all appreciate the value a subtle facelift brings to our business, and we are proud to unveil this recently spruced-up information source.

We at the AustinHLA are dedicated to keeping hotels and those who serve the industry updated on all the latest in industry-related issues as well as upcoming meetings and events, and it is our goal to make this information easily accessible and navigable through our new site. Please take a few moments to peruse the links and let us know what you think!

Legislative Committee

The Austin Hotel & Lodging Association legislative committee works with the Austin City Council and various Texas legislative representatives to ensure the hospitality industry stays strong and fruitful. The primary focus of the committee is to grow our board's advisory and involvement with city, county and state legislators to ensure our industry remains a priority.

Education Committee

The primary focus of the education committee is to engage our association in the development of future leaders through ACC and other educational institutions. The commitee reports on Carl McKee Awards, TH&LA Short Course, and other priorities to the board.

Events Committee

The Austin Hotel & Lodging Association events committee proudly and successfully raises funds for community and educational initiatives while building relationships with key legislators and city officials integral to the mission and goals of the association and the constituency it serves. We welcome you to join us for our next AHLA event.

Green Committee

The Austin Hotel & Lodging Association green committee wants to create awareness in the greater Austin community of the green initiatives the hotel industry undertakes, how we are moving forward in the decreasing our Carbon Footprint, and to contribute to the enhancement of viable "green initiatives" locally.
